Solitaire for Seniors

Klondike has been the daily card game of choice for generations, and it should stay comfortable to play at any age. StillDeck keeps the game exactly as you remember it and puts the comfort controls — bigger cards, single-tap moves, a hideable clock — one tap away.

Start a game — nothing to set up

The cards are dealt the moment the page opens. No account, no download, no ads between deals — and the game waits patiently while you think.

Why classic Klondike is the right fit

It is the version everyone already knows: seven columns, build down in alternating colors, aces to the top. There are no new rules to learn and no opponent setting the tempo. A deal takes ten or fifteen unhurried minutes, and you can walk away in the middle — the same game is waiting on this device when you come back.

Make the cards easy on the eyes

Open Settings and grow the cards until the numbers read comfortably; the board reflows to fit whatever size you choose. Five table themes let you pick the contrast that suits your screen and your lighting, and the card faces use large, clean corner indices drawn for screens rather than scanned from paper.

Move cards with one tap — no dragging

Precise drag-and-drop is the fiddliest part of most card apps, so here it is optional. 1-Tap Move is on from the start: touch a card and it travels to the pile where it belongs. That is kinder to stiff hands and trackpads alike — and if you would rather use a mouse-free setup, the entire game plays from the keyboard.

No ads, no pressure

There is no advertising anywhere — not between deals, not over the board. Nothing counts down, and if you would rather not watch a clock at all, Settings can hide it entirely. Undo takes back up to 100 moves, and the hint button points out an available move whenever you are unsure.

On a tablet, phone, or computer

The game runs in the web browser of whatever device you already own — no app store, no installation, no sign-in. If you like, add StillDeck to your home screen: it opens like an app and keeps working even without an internet connection.

Common questions

Is it really free, with no catch?

Yes. StillDeck is free, carries no advertising, and never asks you to register or enter payment details. A quiet table is the whole idea.

Can I make the cards bigger?

Yes — open Settings and adjust the card size, and the layout adapts as the cards grow. Pairing bigger cards with whichever theme gives you the strongest contrast usually helps the most.

What if I get stuck?

Press the hint button and an available move lights up on the board. If no useful moves remain at all, the game says so plainly instead of letting you shuffle in circles — and a fresh deal is one tap away.

Does it work on an iPad?

Yes. It plays well in Safari on iPad, and equally on Android tablets, phones, laptops, and desktop computers. Anything with a modern browser works, with nothing to install.
